I am experiencing night time fever episodes of 10/15 days stretch at a time on an yearly basis since last 7/8 years. Nothing has been diagnosed so far. The fever usually subsides after taking heavy doses of antibiotics. I would like you to suggest possible reasons for the fever. Thanking you in anticipation.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. A proper diagnostic work up is necessary for you. You should go for complete blood count, urine routine investigation, and sputum AFB in case of any persisting cough. what other symptoms you are having? RA factor and ana profile should be done to rule out autoimmune disease. A consultation with a physician is well appreciated. Thanks
